‘2 States’ is all set to hit the screens tomorrow. The movie is produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala, and it is helmed by Abhishek Varman. It is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘2 States’.

We have seen many movies which are based on novels. Some get success at the box-office and some fail miserably. So, let’s do a pre-release analysis of this novel turned movie.

From the first trailer itself, ‘2 States’ has impressed us. The film seems to be fresh, but we hope that Abhishek Varman does a good job with his direction. The movie is a romantic flick, where inter-caste marriage is an integral part of the film. The movie’s positivity is that it is made for family audiences. Though, there are some kissing and love making scenes, but that's not new in Bollywood movies these days.

When we come to actors, Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are looking perfect in their parts. Their chemistry in the film seems to be good. Both the actors have successful films like ‘Gunday’ (Arjun) and ‘Highway’ (Alia) backing them. Their previous hits might work well for this film. While, youngsters will look forward to Arjun and Alia, older generation have veteran actresses like Amrita Singh and Revathy to look forward to.
