Ever since  Karan Singh Grover left Zee TV’s popular show Qubool Hai, the ratings of the daily soap have plummeted drastically and still continue to do so. 

Four Lions Films tried to replace the actor, bring in new twists, kill a few people, but nothing seems to be working. The last trick in their book is to go for a 22 year leap.

After several auditions and considerations, they channel and production team has locked in onKaranvir Bohra to carry the baton ahead. Apparently, Bohra was approached to play Asad as well after KSG’s exit, but the actor refused ‘coz he did not want to replace anyone. In the current role, Bohra’s character will be romancing Surbhi Jyoti but not Zoya. He will fall in love with Asad and Zoya’s daughter (also played by Surbhi).

According to a source, Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) will be successful in killing Asad and Zoya in a car accident, but their daughter will escape the mishap unharmed. The new Surbhi will fall in love with Karanvir, who will be playing a grey shaded character post the leap. The producers hope to change the fate of the show with a whole new track and new actors, while we doubt that will happen, we’ve got our fingers crossed.
