Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said in his rally that mistakes happen and men should not be hanged for raping women. Giving support to him, Abu Azmi, father-in-law of actress Ayesha Takia said that when a man rapes a woman, both should be hanged.
Because of all these statements, actress Ayesha Takia is ashamed about her father-in-law. She posted on twitter, “if wot im reading about my father in laws statements r true then me and Farhan are deeply embarrassed n ashamed...”
Ayesha also posted that she and her husband Farhan don’t agree to the statements. She tweeted, “We surely do nottt share this mindset...its disrespectful to women.if these statements r true then its sad.”
