Rajat Tokas got engaged to his girlfriend Shrishti Nayyar yesterday. The actor who is busy with the hectic shoot schedule of Jodha Akbar requested for an early wrap up from the sets and celebrate his special moment with his to-be wifey Shrishti and close family and friends. 

Rajat who is best known for his role of Akbar has been in the storm of controversies ever since his onscreen heroine Paridhi Sharma alleged that the director was biased towards Akbar. The actor and Paridhi failed to hit it off on the sets, so much that Ms Sharma had even threatened to quit the show some days ago. However looks like all’s well both on the personal as well as professional front now.

While Jodha and Akbar’s love story is just about to begin,Tokas and his theatre artist fiancee too have decided to make their relationship official and if the buzz is to be believed then we might just hear the wedding bells ring by the end of this year.
