It was earlier reported that Tips Industries had signed director Prabhu Dheva for a three-film deal, and one of the films will be with Salman Khan in the lead.
The movie was to go on floors by the year end and release in 2015, but a source close to the development revealed that the venture is on hold. According to a source, “Earlier, Prabhu had approached Salman with a South remake, which the actor didn’t want to do. Then he approached him with two fresh ideas but the actor gave him the thumbs-down. Instead, Khan had suggested that Prabhu Dheva work on something that would be a first for both of them.”
Now that both Prabhu and Salman are busy with their respective projects, the project is kept on hold.
