SYNOPSIS:

‘Dishkiyaoon’ is a story of Viki (Harman Baweja), whose mother died when he was a child and his father (Rajit Kapoor) didn’t spend enough time with him. In his childhood, he gets humiliated in school and then he goes to one small gangster Mota Tony (Prashant Narayanan) and asks him for the help. When he grows up, he decides to become a big gangster. There is a big gangster Guitar (Rajesh Vivek), whom Viki keeps a check on to get all the info about him and eliminate him and take his place. So what’s next? Does he become a big gangster? How he does it? Who helps him? This is the rest of the story.

STORY, SCREENPLAY AND DIALOGUES:

The story written by Sanamjit Talwar is just as idiotic as you can’t think. It’s embarrassing for Bollywood to have these types of writers. The screenplay is extremely non-sense and confusing. None of the characters are established well; even the writers have not bothered to develop the main lead character. Dialogues are just crap.

PERFORMANCES:

Sunny Deol has nothing much to offer in the film. The actor is totally wasted in the movie and his fans will be definitely disappointed. Harman Baweja makes his comeback onscreen after five years, but he didn’t learn acting and it is confirmed that he can’t act. He should stop acting. Ayesha Khanna, who makes her debut with the film, is also pathetic. She has only one still expression in the whole film. Rest of the cast is just irritating.

DIRECTION, CINEMATOGRAPHY AND EDITING:

I think few people think that it’s a very easy job to become a director, even if youdon’t know the ABC of direction. This statement, which I have written above, is for the director of the film Sanamjit Talwar. His direction is terrible and he has made sure that Harman can’t make a good comeback as an actor. Axel Fischer’s cinematography is very poor. It seems like where ever he wanted to place the camera, he just placed it. Rameshwar S Bhagat’s editing is also very weak.

ACTION, BACKGROUND SCORE AND MUSIC:

The action in the film is nothing great and it seems to be outdated. Amar Mohile’s background score and Palash Muchhal’s music is irritating.

CHOREOGRAPHY, LOCATIONS AND PRODUCTION VALUE:

Choreography done by Ranju Verghese and Kadambari Shetty is strictly average. Production Values are mediocre and the locations fail to attract the eyes.

OUR VERDICT: Don’t even think of watching this movie. A sure shot all time disaster.
