Few days back, we had reported that the makers of Malayalam film ‘Drishyam’ are planning to make the remake of the film in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. It was also reported that Ajay Devgn was approached to play the lead role in the film.
But, now it is learnt that Ekta Kapoor might stop the movie’s Hindi version. ‘Drishyam’ is reportedly inspired by Japanese author Keigo Higashino's book, ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’ and Ekta Kapoor has acquired rights of the book. It is said that she plans to make a film under her banner based on this book.
An insider told us that their legal team is going through the matter.
