'Aashiqui 2' which was a blockbuster hit in bollywood will now be remade in Telugu by producer Bandla Ganesh along with Sachiin Joshi.
Incidentally, Sachiin bought the rights of the film from T-Series head honcho Bhushan Kumar and the Telugu remake will have Sachiin Joshi in the lead. Bhushan Kumar confirmed the development saying, "We have sold the remake rights of Aashiqui 2 to Sachiin Joshi's company who is getting into producing Telugu films. Normally, as producers we buy remake rights of South films, but this time I'm happy that a Hindi movie will be remade in Telugu. I'm very proud of Aashiqui 2."
Sachiin Joshi also confirmed the development saying he's very excited about ‘Aashiqui 2’ and that the popular trend is to remake big south movies in Bollywood so he wants to try the same with the biggest Bollywood film of last year.
