The dhak dhak girl has lent her voice for her upcoming film Gulaab Gang

Not so long time ago, Alia Bhatt made it to the headlines for lending her voice to a song in her next with Imtiaz Ali titled Highway. Now we hear that Madhuri Dixit-Nenetoo has done the same for Gulaab Gang! Over the years, the dhak dhak girl has won hearts with her acting and dancing and we hope her voice impresses us too. This is the first time in her career that Madhuri will be heard crooning on the big screen. That’s not all! Her mother Snhelata Dixit, who is a trained classical singer has rendered a line for the song.

Titled Rangi Sari Gulabi Chunariya, it’s a kajri, folk song. We hear that Madhuri’s mom’s voice will be heard first and then Mads herself will join her mother for the song. The music has been composed by the director himself Soumik Sen.

Well, we have another reason to watch Madhuri’s Gulaab Gang. It’s not only the first time that two icons of B-town, Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit are sharing screen space but it’s also Madhuri’s first time as a singer for a film!
