Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan are back together in a new reality show, Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 5. The couple seems very much in love – neither can leave the side of the other for even a minute. Awww…!

However, in this competition they are not a couple; instead, they will be pitted against each other and only one of them can win. Will it be Kushal or Gauahar – ‘Who knows! How do you feel taking up something so challenging?

Gauahar Khan: I am very happy and thrilled that we are getting the opportunity to do this together.

Kushal Tandon: I happy and it’s very nice of Colors to give us this opportunity. I am glad they think we deserve to do the show.

You just finished a reality show; why do another one so soon?

G: We thought a lot about it and after that came to the conclusion, why not! This will give us more time to spend with each other.

K: Frankly, I did not want to do this initially, but Gauahar convinced me.

Who do you think is mentally and physically stronger?

K: For that you will have to watch the show from March 22, 2014.

G: Mentally, I think I am very strong. Physically and mentally, he is very strong. However, if you compare physicality among the women competing in Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 5, then I think I am very strong. You cannot compare the physicality between men and women.

How have you prepared for the show?

G: We’ve had no time to prepare – we’ve only been going shopping and getting our clothes ready.

K: We haven’t done much shopping either. We have just signed the papers. We will be shopping tomorrow from dawn to dusk.

G: See how stressed he is about shopping!

So what’s on your shopping list?

K: Underwear and ganjis… that’s it.

G: Yaah, he needs to look hot on the show, you see!

What is your biggest fear?

G: I am not going to say what my fear is. I have a lot of fears. I don’t want to reveal them as of now, because then I will be made to face them on the show.

K: Snakes, cockroaches, creepy species.

Who do you think is your biggest competitor?

K: Everybody is good and they are all very fit. Let’s see who wins.

K: No friends – all are colleagues.

What is your biggest strength?

K: My mind and will power.

G: My family – they’ve made me who I am and that’s why I am strong. It’s from them that I get my strength.

Did you get any kind of warning from friends before signing the contract?

K&G: No, not really!

Has life changed for you as a couple inside the house and outside?

G: Inside the house we were strangers first, then we became friends and then we became a couple. Outside we are just a couple, so we are going backwards now – we’re maintaining our friendship and sometimes we try to be strangers so that we can have this spark again and come back together. So we are exploring it backwards now.
