Clear day ahead for Delhi

It was a foggy Tuesday morning, which cleared as the day progressed. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead for the capital.

"A partly cloudy sky will become mainly clear. However, there was moderate fog in the morning. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 8.2 degrees Celsius.

Fog enveloped the national capital in the morning, with visibility dropping to 250 meters at 8.30 a.m., according to the official.

According to Northern Railway, 37 trains coming to Delhi were running late while four from here were rescheduled.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 21.6 degree Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum was 7 degree Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
