Delhiites woke up to a foggy Monday morning, which cleared as the day progressed. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead for the capital.
"The day will become partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 20 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
The minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 7 degrees Celsius.
The fog in the morning which had visibility at 300 metres affected the train operations while the flights remained unaffected.
According to Northern Railway, 50 trains coming to Delhi were running late while two from here were rescheduled.
Humidity at 8:30 a.m. was 97 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature was recorded at 20.6 degrees Celsius - normal for this time of the season, while the minimum temperature was a notch below average at 6.3 degrees Celsius.
