Setting up a Jan Lokpal, or ombudsman, is a priority for Delhi's new Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung said Monday.
Addressing the assembly, he said he expected the government led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to fulfil all its promises.
"People have voted for change in Delhi," he said, adding that he expected the government to fulfil all the promises it made to the people.
"Setting up a Jan Lokpal was a priority in order to bridge the gap between the government and the people" , Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung said Monday.
