New Delhi, Jan 4
People should get a third option for the prime minister's post in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, said Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav here Saturday.
"People should get a third option to vote apart from Rahul Gandhi, and Narendra Modi", Yadav said.
He was speaking to reporters outside the Constitution Club before AAP's National Executive meeting being held to discuss the parliamentary elections.
"Today's meeting is on the party's stand on the forthcoming general elections and we will decide if we can give the people the third option for the prime minister's race", the AAP leader added.
Yadav said the party wanted Arvind Kejriwal to be the prime ministerial candidate from AAP.
However, it was important to look at the party's support and the capability of the leader who is projected as the PM candidate, he said.
