Gurgaon, Dec 19 (IANS)

Two men who raped a woman and then killed her along with her husband on the orders of the dead woman's elder sister have been arrested, police said Thursday.

The elder sister, Guddi, allegedly ordered the double murder because the couple knew about her (Guddi) extra-marital affair. She too has been arrested.

Prithi, 40, of Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh, and Sanjay, 37, of Faridabad in Haryana, were arrested for killing Jugla, 27, and his 24-year-old wife Dec 1.

The accused raped the woman and then strangled her near the Gurgaon border in Faridabad. Her body was dumped in a village, Joint Commissioner of Police Vivek Sharma told reporters.

Guddi, 30, who too lived in Vrindavan, hatched the conspiracy, police said. She asked Prithi, with whom she had illicit relations, to kill her sister and brother-in-law.

Prithi coaxed Jugla and his wife to sell their 100 yard plot in Vrindavan at a high rate to a Haryana property dealer.

The killers took the victims in a car from Vrindavan. They first raped Jugla's wife and killed her. Her husband, who had been served liquor, was strangled separately. His body was dumped near a village in Sohna.
