London, Dec 17

Jesy Nelson, member of the Little Mix band, braved the needle to get a tattoo of a large rose and thorn on her left forearm.

The 22-year-old singer proudly displayed the new inking when she wore a sleeveless top during a recent appearance on Channel 4's 'Sunday Brunch' with her bandmates.

In a photograph posted on the band's official Twitter account, Nelson showed off her new tattoo, which sprawls from her wrist to her elbow. The design features two large roses on stems with thorns, leaves and buds, reports contactmusic.com.

It is not known when the 22-year-old got the tattoo done.

Nelson already has an extensive tattoo collection, including a script on her upper right arm which reads, "Music is the strongest form of magic," and "A wolf never loses sleep over the opinion of sheep," etched around her thigh.
