The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were Thursday adjourned for the day after paying tributes to sitting and former members who died in the intervening period between the monsoon and winter sessions.

The Lok Sabha paid tribute to its member Sarguja Murarilal Singh of the BJP.

In Rajya Sabha, Chairman Hamid Ansari paid tributes to Mohan Singh (Samajwadi Party), who was a sitting member of the house, and to its former members Ram Naresh Kushwaha (Samajwadi Party) and Dinanath Mishra (BJP).

Bharatiya Janata Party members sought to make a reference to the deaths in blasts in Patna on the day of its rally in October.
