It was a nippy Saturday morning, with the minimum temperature recorded two notches above season's average at 11.8 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.
"The day began with mist and shallow fog. However, it will remain clear with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature settled two notches above season's average at 27.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 10.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year.
