Actor Hiten Tejwani has always been on the leaner side, but is making an extra effort to play a college student.
In Agnidev Chatterjee's "Tere Aane Se", the audience will get to see different stages of his character's life and one of them is that of a college student.
The 39-year-old considers himself to be lucky as he is not overweight, but to justify his role he takes out time from his hectic schedule and works out.
"I am more into cardio now. When you run, your entire body is taken care off. I've never done weight (training). Luckily, I don't have a sweet tooth nor I eat rice. There are diet restrictions, but I never used to have all that so everything is in control," Hiten, who had earlier played a college student in "Krishna Cottage" in 2004, told IANS.
"You need to look lean. Luckily, I am not on heavier side. I do cardio once in the morning or evening," he added.
The romantic thriller, which also stars Purab Kohli and Rituparna Sengupta, is expected to hit theatres in summer of 2014.
He will also be seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer "It's Entertainment".
"It's a small role. I play an actor in the film," said Hiten, who is popular in the TV industry for his stint in shows like "Pavitra Rishta", "Kya Huaa Tera Vaada" and "Kutumb".
