Season's first snowfall in Calgary

Calgary: Wet, blowing snow started pelting Calgary Sunday morning as the city locked in amidst a snowfall cautioning.

 

Environment Canada cautioned Saturday that the city could see 10 to 20 centimetres of snow by Monday morning. Leader Naheed Nenshi anticipated on Twitter that the morning drive Monday might be "terrible."

 

The temperature is gauge to sit underneath zero with additional light snow on Monday before warming go down on Tuesday.

 

It was a sunny, warm October day, when Environment Canada cautioned snow might be soon be falling everywhere on a beautiful harvest time.
