President Pranab Mukherjee will make a two-day visit to Assam and Meghalaya from Oct 21.
In Meghalaya, Mukherjee will address members of state legislative assembly on Oct 21. He will also inaugurate the innovation club and attend annual convocation of North Eastern Hill University on Oct 22 at Shillong, an official release said here Saturday.
In Assam, the president will inaugurate the national seminar on "Continuing Legal Education" and "Children and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012" on Oct 22 at Guwahati.
The seminar is being organized by the bar council of Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim as part of its golden jubilee celebrations.
