Sachin Tendulkar: A shining star in the Indian Cricket history

 

  • In the year 2002, Wisden Cricketers' Almanack ranked Sachin as the second strongest Test batsman after Don Bradman, and the second best one-day-international batsman.

 

  • On October 5, 2013, Sachin became the 16th player in the world and first Indian batsman to aggregate 50,000 runs. He was a part of 2011 Cricket World Cup and later in his career; he got six World Cup appearances for the nation.Sachin was also the entitled as the "Player of the Tournament" award in the Cricket World Cup held in South Africa. Adding to glory in October 2013, Sachin became the solitary Indian cricketer to be invited in all-time Test World XI to spot the 150th centenary of Wisden Cricketers.
