Residents in traditional costumes perform the dance of "Moors and Christians", in the framework of the celebrations of Saint Anthony the Abbot, in San Salvador, capital of El Salvador, on Jan. 17, 2014. The "Moors and Christians" dance was brought by the Iberian conquerors in the colonization stage of the American continent. In the dance religious and war aspects are represented, and its origin is registered in the battles between the Moors and the Christian kings.
