Armed with orders to put an end to the brutal attacks of the man-eater tiger, which had created panic among the residents of Bandipur and Nagarahole Forest range, where it had mauled four persons to death in the past week, the Forest Department officials succeeded in tranquilizing the elusive feline near Chikkaburgi village in Hediyala Range of Mysore on Dec.5, 2013.
